We were delighted to launch the fifth annual Learning and Skills Sector conference in London in the Autumn of 2007.
The pattern of learner accreditation and qualifications for the Learning and Skills Sector is changing with the introduction of the new Framework and 14-19 Diplomas. e-Assessment will play a key role in ensuring that these developments are accessible to as wide a range of learners as possible.
This conference looked at some of the latest developments, tools and techniques in assessing these skills and their importance for the Learning and Skills Sector. Including how they may be used in the future to support the changing qualification landscape. That is from the perspective of the learner, the deliverer and the employer
An impressive line-up of high profile speakers contributed experience, insight and guidance in the subject, including experts in vocational qualifications, work based learning and its assessment, CPD, e-portfolios and data collection and analysis.
Professional associations, awarding bodies, educational institutions, training providers and employers are responding to the challenges of the new assessment developments and beginning to realise the benefits they may offer. These include cost-effective delivery with enhanced assessment, verification opportunities and improved learner success.
Assessment Tomorrow (the team behind the highly successful e-Assessment Question and Assessment Tomorrow international conferences) are planning the fifth annual conference on the theme of Building a 21st Century Assessment System to Support Learning & Skills
